Richard S. Williams, son of Zebulon Williams, was born in 1802. He was a neighbor of the Joseph Smith Sr. family in Palmyra. On December 4, 1833, Richard signed the “Testimony of 51 Neighbors,” later printed in Mormonism Unvailed.[1]
The US Federal Census of 1860 listed Richard as a “master miller” residing in Palmyra with a personal wealth of $8,000 and a real wealth of $10,000. He later resided in Arcadia, Wayne County, New York. He died in 1879.
