William Snow was born on July 14, 1783 in Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island. He married Anna Colton Snow on July 9, 1816 in Seneca, Ontario County, New York. To their union were born three children.[1]
In 1855, William was living with his wife, two children, three grandchildren, and a servant in District No. 2 of Seneca, New York.[2] In 1865, he was living with his wife, a daughter, three grandchildren, and nine boarders in District No. 1 of Seneca.[3] After a long illness, he died on July 6, 1871 in Geneva, Ontario County, New York at age eighty-eight. His funeral was held at the Methodist Episcopal Church.[4] Following the funeral, he was buried in the Washington Street Cemetery in Geneva.
