On December 4, 1833, Pelatiah West signed the “Testimony of 51 Neighbors,” later printed in Mormonism Unvailed.[1] He owned a saddle and harness shop in Palmyra. He was an elder in the Western Presbyterian Church of Palmyra. In 1830, he was listed on the Palmyra census as being in his thirties.[2]
