Linus North, son of Stephen North and Susan Savage, was born on November 2, 1793 in Fly Creek, Otsego County, New York. He married Justa Maria Fitch on October 26, 1819 in Cooperstown, Otsego County, New York.
On December 4, 1833, Linus signed the “Testimony of 51 Neighbors,” later printed in Mormonism Unvailed.[1] He was a Presbyterian minister. He died on January 24, 1846 in Palmyra and was buried in the Palmyra City Cemetery.
