Jacob Gannett, son of Jacob Gannet Sr. and Molly Whitten, was born on July 2, 1792 in Macedon, Wayne County, New York. Jacob was a trustee of the Presbyterian Church in Palmyra. He married Jane McCreery in 1822 in Wayne County, New York. He married Diana Cary in 1835.
Jacob was residing in Walworth, Wayne County, New York by 1840.[1] He died on May 25, 1880 in Walworth and was buried in the Ontario Village Cemetery.[2]
