Haskill Linnell was born on August 25, 1805 in Orleans, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. He was the son of Uriah Linnell and Thankful Crosby. He married Melissa Morehouse in New York around 1829. To their union were born four children.
On December 4, 1833, H. Linnell signed the “Testimony of 51 Neighbors,” later printed in Mormonism Unvailed.[1] He associated with the Western Presbyterian Church of Palmyra.[2] In 1850 at age forty-four, Haskell lived in Canandaigua. He died in 1857 in Newark, Essex County, New Jersey.
