George Hathaway, son of Salmon Hathaway and Charlotte Chesebrough, was born in 1818 in Palmyra. He married Adeline Kingsley Chase on March 30, 1833 in Palmyra. To their union were born three children.
On December 4, 1833, George A. Hathaway signed the “Testimony of 51 Neighbors,” later printed in Mormonism Unvailed.[1]
