David Strong Jackway (Jackways) (1787–1854)

David Strong Jackway, son of William Jackway and Nancy Ann Smith, was born on August 2, 1787 in Wyoming, Pennsylvania. He married Mary Polly Perin in 1804 in Palmyra, New York. To their union were born eleven children.

David was issued a deed for the purchase of a pew in the Western Presbyterian Church iin Palmyra. On December 4, 1833, he signed the “Testimony of 51 Neighbors,” later printed in Mormonism Unvailed.[1] David died on September 6, 1854 in Palmyra.
