Benjamin Tabor (Taber) (1775–1857)

Benjamin Tabor was born on March 12, 1775. He was the father of Calista Taber, who married Lorenzo Saunders. Benjamin married Elizabeth Humphrey. He was taxed for 100 acres in Manchester. On January 23. 1834, Benjamin deeded land formally owned by Aber Cole to Lorenzo Saunders for $3,000. The property was foreclosed on by the state of New York due to Abner Cole’s failure to pay the mortgage. The property was sold to Benjamin Tabor.[1]

Benjamin died on May 7, 1857 at Lenawee County, Michigan. He was buried in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Hudson, Lenawee County, Michigan
