On December 4, 1833, Azel Ensworth signed the “Testimony of 51 Neighbors,” later printed in Mormonism Unvailed.[1] He was a physician and moved to Palmyra in 1792 where he opened a tavern. He later moved to Rochester. In 1826, he returned to Palmyra to marry a second time.[2]
