Amos Hollister, son of I. Hollister and Mary Kendall, was born on May 16, 1786 in Pawlet, Rutland County, Vermont. He married Catharine Hulburt on October 23, 1808 in Pawlet. To their union were born three children.
On December 4, 1833, Amos Hollister signed the “Testimony of 51 Neighbors,” later printed in Mormonism Unvailed.[1]
